Angel's Embrace is a one-of-a-kind artisan natural burial shroud, lovingly handcrafted from natural fibres and carefully chosen elements, with many, many hours of hand stitching woven into its creation.

Angels' Embrace was created to symbolise the gentle embrace of wings.

The journey begins with a beautiful white linen shroud, which is placed around the body first.

It is then gently secured with three individually hand-plaited white linen bindings, each incorporating a natural cord into the plaiting. Each binding is finished with delicate white linen leaves, authentic white feathers and touches of biodegradable glitter.

At the back of the shroud sit two intertwined hearts. From these hearts, the angel wings extend outward. As the shroud is wrapped, the wings gently fold across the body, creating an Angel's Embrace ... A final embrace ... A quiet holding. A symbolic reminder that love doesn't end simply because someone has left this physical world.

EVERY FEATHER, EVERY STITCH

There are many hours of handwork within Angels' Embrace. Each authentic white feather has been individually considered and placed by hand. Each stitch has been sewn with intention. The delicate combination of linen, calico, muslin, natural thread, wool and authentic white feathers, together with touches of biodegradable glitter, creates a ceremonial textile that is both earthy and ethereal.

THE KEEPSAKE BOX

Angels' Embrace is presented in its own handcrafted wooden keepsake box, lovingly made by Mark, Jo's husband, especially for this shroud.

The box is finished with decorative metal corner pieces featuring detailed embellishments and a beautiful hook-and-clasp closure. Created to protect and hold Angels' Embrace, the box becomes part of the story too.

And when its original purpose has passed, the box can continue to be cherished and reused to hold photographs, letters, treasured mementoes, keepsakes or other precious belongings.

Something made to protect something precious can itself become a treasured keepsake.

A CONSCIOUS FAREWELL
